History
JOHN W. LONGNAKER III is an attorney in Anderson, Indiana, where he has practiced for 30 years in 2023, now limited to the areas of estate planning & administration, trusts, guardianships, elder law, Medicaid planning, real estate and business. He and his wife were born and raised in Anderson and Pendleton, respectively, and have three children. His interests include: baseball, drumming, music, zoology, reading, sailing, and fishing.
He is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, since 2009, an accredited law specialty in Indiana, and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He also became a National Certified Guardian by the Center for Guardianship Certification in 2021, and a member of the National Guardianship Association in 2020.
He has appeared on local radio stations WHBU and WMDH and Channel 8 News as an expert on Elder Law issues. Amber Longnaker
Amber is usually the first voice and smiling face you meet at Longnaker Law Office. For nearly 20 years, she has had a variety of roles in her husband’s law office. Currently, she handles paralegal tasks, and serves as the office’s receptionist and billing manager. She and John have been married since 1996 and have three grown children. She is originally from Pendleton, IN. She co-founded and serves as Executive Co-Director (East Division) for Guardian Advocates Inc., the local non-profit that provides protection, support and advocacy through guardianship services to 8 County Court Systems for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Ellyn Morgan
Ellyn got her start working as a paralegal in litigation over 20 years ago. She now focuses her work in probate, estates, trust administrations, business law, and guardianships, and is also cross-trained in Medicaid applications and estate planning. Ellyn is originally from the Selma-Muncie area, but now lives with her husband and family in Madison County.
